HRH Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, accompanied by his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles, visited, on Monday, the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco,

HRH Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, accompanied by his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles, visited, on Monday, the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco, which hosts an exposition on projects achieved by the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

    During this visit, Prince Charles toured the different departments of the library, which is designed to preserve the national cultural heritage documents, disseminate knowledge and promote scientific research.
    The British Royal couple was also briefed on the achievements of the large-scale anti-poverty programme INDH which has benefited a large part of the Moroccan society since its launch in 2005.   
    HRH Prince Charles and his wife arrived in Rabat, earlier on Monday, for a three-day official visit to Morocco at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI.
